HISTORY – We’ve been coaching youth football for 20 years and have seen the good and the bad side of coaching in youth sports. The BYFA was born out of a desire to channel enthusiasm and passion for the game into a positive experience for our kids and their families. We’ve seen the impact on our players, not just on the field, but in their lives outside of football. Our coaches have visited players at their schools and talked with their teachers. We’ve attended funerals, made hospital visits, celebrated birthdays and held team campouts. We care not just about their athletic ability, but about them personally. Our Charger motto is: “Football is Family”.
